The Aboriginal Apprenticeship and Mentoring Program

The Aboriginal Apprenticeship and Mentoring Program (AAMP) is for Aboriginal jobseekers. It offers a personalised service to help you:
  • choose a career appropriate to your skills
  • link you with potential employers
  • provide advice on pre-apprenticeship training required to meet your training requirements.

Once you’re in an apprenticeship or traineeship, the AAMP provides a mentoring service to help you throughout your training contract to give you the best chance of successfully completing it.

The program is for metropolitan and regional Aboriginal jobseekers and is free of charge.
