Only Regulation and Contract Management can suspend a training contract.

During the course of an apprenticeship or traineeship it may be necessary to suspend the training contract for any number of reasons. Suspensions occur for reasons such as non-work related injury or illness (after using all sick leave provisions), or personal reasons.

Your reasons for a suspension might include a downturn in work or the relocation of the business premises.
If you think you need a suspension for reasons of serious and wilful misconduct, see serious and wilful misconduct.

To apply to suspend your training contract, complete the Suspension application form and send it into Regulation and Contract Management using the fax, email or postal address on the form.

We will notify you with the outcome of your application in writing.
