Online business entrepreneurs are a new group of business entrepreneurs who work online to market and deliver goods and services to global customers.

Where online business entrepreneurs are employed

Online business entrepreneurs usually own and run their small business from home.

How to become one

Before you get started find out if people are interested in buying your products or services. Find out who your competitors are and whether the market can sustain your business.

Conduct some research to see whether your idea is really feasible. This will involve gathering, analysing and evaluating information to help you formulate your business plan. You will then need to find out the legal and taxation requirements, how to register the business, how to get a business loan and how to manage the finances.

You will need to have the information technology equipment to run a business online such as computer, internet, digital camera and web camera.
