Employers in the mining, resource and supporting industry sectors can apply for funds to train and employ Aboriginal jobseekers through the Connecting Aboriginal People to Mining (CAPM) program.
How it works
South Australian employers in mining, resources and supporting industry sectors are able to apply for funding through the Connecting Aboriginal People to Mining program.
Employers can apply for CAPM funding to support projects that connect Aboriginal jobseekers to employment in the mining, resources and supporting industries. Projects must support Aboriginal jobseekers overcome barriers to employment, deliver industry relevant training and commit to employ participants after they successfully complete their training.
Employers are invited to partner with a Skills for All Training Provider to apply for funding.
Visit Connecting Aboriginal People to Mining for more information including the CAPM Program Guidelines for 2012 and Application forms.
Applications closed Friday, 9 November 2012.
