Learning Support Services are available to students in TAFE SA to help them address life, learning and other issues, to help them stay in training and succeed in their studies.

Students that may be eligible include sole parents, women returning to work, people who are or were subject to the justice system, Aboriginal people, and people with a disability. These services may be available through other training providers in July 2012.

Future development of Learner Support Services

In July 2011, a trial commenced with TAFE SA, offering Learning Support Services to students.

The trial is being extended to other training providers and will run until the end of 2013.

It will support approximately 400 students in need of additional support, who will be selected through an eligibility and assessment process.

Training providers who offer or want to offer Learning Support Services will be able to get funding from the State Government.

Further announcements will be made. Contact us to be kept updated.
