Through Skills in the Workplace, employers will use nominated training providers to skill and reskill their workforce.

How it works

The Skills in the Workplace Program provides employers with government funding for workforce development and training for employees.

Enterprises and representative industry bodies will negotiate a funding agreement with DFEEST and make arrangements with their chosen training providers.

Training Providers are only eligible to apply for Skills in the Workplace funding to train their own workforce, provided they are an approved Skills for All Training Provider.
