Claiming payments for apprentices and trainees

With the launch of Skills for All in 2012, some limited 'Teach Out' User Choice Funding Agreements were offered.

RTOs with existing User Choice Funding Agreements

RTOs who are training apprentices and trainees are expected to become Skills for All Training Providers if they wish to continue to receive South Australian Government funding for training.

See apply to become a Skills for All Training Provider.

If you have any questions about User Choice 'Teach Out' Funding contact our Infoline and ask to speak to a member of the User Choice Team.

Travel and accommodation allowance

The State Government may contribute towards the travel and accommodation costs of an apprentice or trainee you are training, if they live more than 150km from the closest approved training provider. It is not intended to cover their total travel and accommodation costs.

See wages and allowances for apprentices and trainees for information to pass on to the apprentice or trainee.
