Get help with planning your study and work
If you want to talk to somebody about work and study ideas, you can meet with a career adviser in your area. They will look at what you can do, what you’ve done and what you would like to do, and then help you plan your next steps. This service is free.
Start learning in your local area
If you're ready to start learning, Adult Community Education (ACE) centres in your area can help you improve your reading, writing and number skills. Many ACE centres also offer free or low cost courses to help you get computer and other workplace skills.
Get into training with fee-free courses
If you're ready to start training, fee-free courses at Certificate 1 and 2 level can prepare you for work in all industries including business, horticulture, retail, and transport. See the fee-free courses available through Skills for All Training Providers.
