Training for school students​

You can start getting industry skills through vocational education and training (VET) while you’re at school. 

How VET in schools works

You can complete a full VET qualification at school or do units from a qualification which goes towards your South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and post-school training, or an apprenticeship.

Get VET qualifications while you’re at school through:

• VET courses offered at your school
• starting a Certificate III pathway as part of your SACE, with the training guarantee for SACE students
• an Australian school based apprenticeship or traineeship.

How ICAN/FLO works

School students 16 years and over who are enrolled in school as ICAN or FLO students may be eligible to access the Skills for All training subsidy.
