Access additional support for students with significant barriers to completing training.
Learner Support Services (LSS) provide case management support to help students address life, learning and other issues, and complete their training and transition to employment.
Training providers can refer their students, including apprentices and trainees, to an LSS provider.
If you have a significant number of students with complex barriers to training, you may receive additional funding to provide personalised student support.
Eligible students include:
- those who have not completed school
- sole parents
- women returning to work
- people who are or were subject to the justice system
- Aboriginal people
- people with disability
- people who are or were under the Guardianship of the Minister.
